Saudi Arabia Hajj Visa Application Dates in 2024
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced that you can apply for a Hajj visa from March 1 to April 29, 2024.
Please note: Hajj visa deadline is April 29, 2024.
Hajj Visa Eligibility and Requirements
To obtain a Hajj visa to Saudi Arabia, it is crucial to meet the following Hajj visa requirements:
- You must be a practicing Muslim because Hajj is a religious obligation in Islam.
- You must be healthy and fit to do the Hajj activities.
- You need to have enough money to cover your travel and accommodation.
- Usually, you need to be an adult to go on Hajj, but children under 18 can go if they're traveling with their parents.
- You'll need a valid passport and all the right documents to go to Saudi Arabia for Hajj.
The Hajj Visa is for pilgrims only and is only valid during the Hajj period. After the Hajj, you must leave Saudi Arabia before the 10th of Muharram. You can't stay with a Hajj visa.
Please remember that with a Hajj visa, you can only go to Jeddah, Makkah, and Madinah, so going to other places without permission could get you in trouble. Also, this visa does not allow you to work or live in Saudi Arabia.
Can I perform Hajj on a tourist visa? No, the Hajj pilgrimage is only open to those with a Hajj visa or who are residents of the Kingdom (Iqama holders).
